Many things make our Salt Lake City office special, but what is most significant about this office is the amount of growth we’ve seen from it over the last few years. This growth has been apparent in many aspects of our business here, and it began once DVL acquired what was formerly known as Technical Building Systems, Inc. (TBS), in 2019. While leveraging the legacy that TBS built over the years, we were able to take this first step towards growth when DVL brought our relationships with the Russelectric and Starline brands to the Utah market. These additions positioned our newest DVL location for great success in Utah data centers.
We have continued to grow in the SLC market year-over-year, with last year's figures showing an amazing 150% growth since 2020. And, in that same timeframe, our team of Associates based out of this office tripled, as we are now all the more capable of helping our customers succeed in their own businesses.
OUR SERVICES
While our data center solutions are still the cornerstone of our offerings, the biggest addition to the Salt Lake City office has been our Thermal Services Department, which was launched in 2020. While previously this office focused solely on products, based off of the success we had seen from our other offices' service departments, we knew that bringing our certified technicians to our customers' sites would do much to help extend the lifespans of their equipment.
This service team not only has immense backgrounds in the field, but they also continue on with both DVL and Vertiv certification programs, including a rigorous multi-year training program, which has online, virtual, and instructor-led components. In addition, we also have a team of service coordinators who support these technicians, as they do their part to solidify DVL's reputation of being professional experts.
In just 2023 alone, we responded to more than 600 service calls in support of business-critical operations. Such calls included equipment start-ups (that must be completed by qualified technicians to satisfy warranty requirements), preventative maintenance, warranty repairs, and unscheduled equipment needs.

Russelectric manufactures high-integrity on-site power control systems to help ensure 100% uptime without disruptions or aberrations. They deliver engineered solutions to hospitals, data centers, airports, water treatment, renewable energy, DoD, and other mission-critical facilities.
DVL also provides a robust variety of electrical control systems, built from our own UL Certified manufacturing facility out of our Bristol, PA headquarters in the Philadelphia metro area. These systems begin with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), but equally include protective relays and power quality devices.
OUR COMMUNITY
As an employee owned company, our Core Values are daily motivators that keep us going, and this is especially true when it comes to the Core Value of Caring. For this reason, DVL is committed to giving back to the communities where we do business. Associates based out of our Salt Lake City office have chosen to support Crossroads Urban Center, a local non-profit that runs one of the busiest Emergency Food Pantries in Utah, and assists Utahns with low incomes, those with disabilities, and people of color, to meet basic survival needs and to address essential issues affecting quality of life.
