In June 2018, DVL expanded its reach from the Philadelphia area, into the west, when we acquired AC Systems, Denver's Local Vertiv Office (LVO). Since 1977, AC Systems had supported critical infrastructure in the Rocky Mountain territory. DVL was honored to continue on this legacy as we continued to build upon their established expertise and, since then, added even more great products and services.
Our data center solutions are still the cornerstone of our offerings, but the biggest addition to the Denver office, has been power generation, as we have since become the local Generac Industrial Power representative, solely out of our Denver and Albuquerque offices.
Today, we use our years of expertise to help Rocky Mountain area customers determine which solutions and products are best for their facilities. Our engineers work with end-users directly, as well as consulting and mechanical firms, to tailor critical infrastructure to the environmental challenges that are specific to Colorado and need to be considered. These challenges, such as cooling with reduced water impacts or finding the best generator configuration for a high-altitude location, can be much less daunting with DVL engineers to guide you.
OUR SERVICES
For clients across the entire state of Colorado and into much of Wyoming, our Denver office is able to provide thermal services for data centers' precision cooling needs, as well as power generation services.
Our thermal technicians are certified through completing a rigorous multi-year training program which includes online, virtual, and instructor-led components. This enables us to bring our thermal service customers unparalleled expertise. In just 2023 alone, we responded to more than 1,000 service calls in support of business-critical operations. Such calls included equipment start-ups (that must be completed by qualified technicians to satisfy warranty requirements), preventative maintenance, and unscheduled equipment needs.
In addition, our certified generator technicians provide many industrial and commercial generator needs. Servicing more than 300 customers in 2023, our GenSet Services team provided more than 250 start-ups (also needing qualified expertise to satisfy warranty requirements) and 300+ preventative maintenance visits, ensuring smooth operations for healthcare, high-rises, telecom towers, and other critical facilities. This is in addition to the 400+ non-scheduled customer visits we made to address urgent matters.

DVL also provides a robust variety of electrical control systems, built from our own UL Certified manufacturing facility out of our Bristol, PA headquarters in the Philadelphia metro area. These systems begin with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), but equally include protective relays and power quality devices.
OUR COMMUNITY
As an employee owned company, our Core Values are daily motivators that keep us going, and this is especially true when it comes to the Core Value of Caring. This is why, recently, several of our employee owners were driven to go the extra mile for an Aurora, CO-based non-profit, Brent's Place, which is a long-term home away from home for children and families with cancer or other life-threatening illnesses while they receive treatment at local hospitals.
In addition to the national charities that DVL is proud to support, each of our offices has a local non-profit that we focus on. So, naturally, as we learned more about Brent’s Place, we were glad to select it as our chosen organization.
