The New Variable Defining Success for Data Center HPC Efficiency: "FTUE"

7-16-25 WEBINAR - 400 x 200

Wednesday, July 16, 2025

2pm - 3pm ET

Join us when we welcome Anthony Menicucci, PhD, Consulting Engineer at Sandia National Labs, to discuss "FLOPS" Total Usage Effectiveness, also known as "FTUE". Dr. Menicucci is one of the creators of this new energy usage metric, which is a basis to assess computing energy usage efficiency relative to cooling power usage - specific to data centers using high-performance computing.

We'll discuss:

  • The gaps in current efficiency measurements,
  • Variables within the calculations of FTUE,
  • Results of measuring FTUE within HPC environments,
  • And much more.
