Michael P. Murphy, Chairman
Michael draws on over 30 years of engineering experience to lead DVL in providing smart power solutions for mission critical applications like yours.
Michael serves on the board of directors of MEA, and is a member of leading industry organizations like TEC, ASCHRAE, and the 7x24 Exchange. He also served as Chairman of the Liebert President's Advisory Committee during 1994-1995.
A Cornell University graduate with a mechanical engineering degree, Michael's career started with Detroit Diesel Allison Corp, followed by Penske GM Power and Liebert New York.
Michael G. Beck, P.E., CEO/President
Michael manages DVL’s team of professional HVAC sales executives, making sure that they’re providing you with the best guidance and support for your applications. He’s spent over 30 years in the industry, gaining a deep expertise of engineering along the way.
Michael earned his architectural engineering degree from Penn State, and is a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Pennsylvania. Previously, he worked at Borg Warner's York Division.
Gary Hill, President, DVL, LLC
Gary helps DVL to partner with firms that enhance the products and services you get from us, using over 20 years of sales experience with mission critical environments to make connections that will most help you.
Currently, Gary is a member of the Delaware Valley 7x24 Exchange, and is active in numerous professional and civic organizations. He also served as the president of the Lehigh Valley ASHRAE chapter.
Gary graduated from the University of Missouri with a BSME in Mechanical Engineering, and has past work experience that includes Airedale North America.
Bob Gusciora, P.E., President, Strategic Account Services
Bob and his team of engineers take your challenge of wanting high reliability, maintainability, and flexibility – all while minimizing low first costs -- and meet it head on. He’s a power sales engineer with over 20 years of experience in evaluating, designing, and commissioning critical electrical systems for data centers, office buildings, and industrial facilities.
Bob is a registered Professional Engineer in the state of Pennsylvania, and a Fairleigh Dickinson University graduate with a BSME degree. Prior to joining DVL in 1990, he worked at ASCO.
John A. DeFlores, Vice President, Strategic Account Services
John is a leading expert in critical systems integration, and he puts that knowledge to use in providing clients like you with management of a crack integrated service team. He’s been in the industry over 35 years, and along the way, he’s formed relationships with some of the country’s leading engineering firms.
John has been with DVL since 1985, but before then, he was on duty at ASCO and Solar Turbines, Inc. He’s a Kean College graduate with a degree in industrial technology and engineering.
Fred B. Franks III, Treasurer/CFO
Fred keeps DVL’s finances in top shape, helping us deliver affordable service and support to you. The CPA has over 25 years of experience in the scientific engineering field, and he shows it with an immense knowledge of information systems.
A well-traveled worker, Fred has served as CFO at both publically and privately held companies, and has also served as a consultant to the Safeguard Scientific group of companies. He graduated from Lafayette College as an electrical engineer, also earning an MBA from the Wharton Graduate School of the University of Pennsylvania.
Sean Cotter, Chief Information Officer
Sean brings a lot to the table, including installation of monitoring systems and advanced energy reporting for your data centers. With over 15 years of experience in technology and operations management, he has no trouble delivering advanced tools to DVL customers like you.
The former owner of a local technology company, Sean consulted for DVL for seven years before joining the team as a full-time employee. He is a graduate of Saint Joseph's University Executive MBA program, as well as Widener University, where he earned a BS in business and managing information systems.
Joe Bedics, Chief Operating Officer
Joe is in charge of getting DVL out in front of the latest trends in engineering, ultimately delivering you the service and products that your business can count on for years to come. He’s been in the industry for over 15 years, and has a proven history of success in helping customers.
At Conrail, Joe’s employer prior to DVL, he saved customers money by reducing the company’s energy bills by several million dollars. After joining DVL, he proved himself by once again cutting company costs, which in turn helps to keep your costs down. Joe earned a BS in industrial engineering from Lehigh University.
